The ServSafe Online course is an anytime, anywhere food safety training option.  You can log on before work, after work, or anytime you have free time.  It effectively teaches key food safety practices and prepares managers to take the ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification Exam.  The course is very user friendly and interactive for managers that want to study at their own pace and take pre- and post-tests to measure their learning.  The exam will be scheduled and administered through ProctorU, an online proctoring service.

The ServSafe Online exam:

​

• Measures the quality and individual levels of learning.  Identifies and provides feedback on learning gaps and provides a secure and reliable system for keeping records.​​

​

• Has a consistent message, so all students receive the same content in the same way - keeping terminology uniform and eliminating the possibility of skipping key information.

​

• Focuses on the learner, with engaging and challenging interactive exercises that are self-directed, self-paced and easy to follow.

​

• Contains interactive activities with real life scenarios.

​

• Includes a post-test with 60 questions to help prepare students for the Certification Exam.

Once you begin the course, 90 days will be given to complete the online material, at which time the course will be deactivated whether the material has been completed or not.

When you register for the Online Course & Online Proctored Exam you will be assigned an instructor.  You may utilize up to 2 hours of instruction/mentoring time with your instructor.  They will communicate with you throughout your course and leading up to your exam and can help answer any questions you may have.

Once the course material has been completed, you will receive instructions on how to register for your exam through ProctorU as well as your Exam Access Code.  You MUST have the exam code to take the correct exam.  Your exam will be scheduled directly with ProctorU.
